How to Post: Rules & Policies: Read first!

Welcome to "The B&B Lady's" reader blog. You're welcome to browse the blog all you wish. But if you want to post messages, there are a few rules and policies for you to be aware of:
Our publications are polite and civilized, and we expect all members of these forums to be polite and civilized in their posts. This is a forum, as it were, of people wanting to know more about the bed and breakfast industry. Stay focused, stay on-topic, and participate to everyone's benefit.
During the course of conversation we may find that your questions are outside the scope of casual conversation and that you need more education than is feasible in this forum. If we realize that's your case, we will urge you to seek a seminar, a Book -- electronic or print, consulting, or even a hands-on training. Whether you pursue that more focused education or not, we won't be able to stay focused on your intense needs.
By posting you are certifying that you are at least 13 years old. The topics here are considered to be of interest to adults entering or active in the B&B world. By nature of the B&B industry, some topics may verge on racy, but that's not the intention of this blog.
You also understand that weekly notices of the conversations that have transpired will be emailed. This is our way of helping build a community, something you are becoming part of by registering.
Copyrighted material: you may not post copyrighted material belonging to others in these forums. This not only includes newspaper and magazine articles, or any significant portion of "The B&B Lady" articles, but also any other material produced by others that you do not have express permission to reproduce. (According to international law, all "original expression" is legally copyrighted once it is put into "tangible form" (read: in writing), even if it does not have a copyright notice prohibiting its use!)
By posting in any blogs here, you agree that your posts become the property of "The B&B Lady" and may be published here! They may also be reprinted in any publication we produce or cause to be produced, including (but not limited to) excerpting your posts for"The B&B Lady" newsletter, or any other publications that arise from this blog, as we deem appropriate. You of course retain the right to use your words in any other place as you see fit; you are not assigning all of your rights to us.
These blogs are offered on an "as-available" basis and there is no guarantee as to their future availability, and participation here by all users is at the sole discretion of Sage Blossom Consulting, and assigns.
You also agree that we may amend these rules from time to time, and you will continue to be bound by them.
If you have interest in receiving materials from us, like newsletters, promotions, etc -- all related to the B&B industry, please email Bobbi Zane, her contact information is found the Moderator's Forum. And, to help me discern legitimate interest, provide some information about yourself that shows your sincere interest in the B&B industry.

Hi Kit. How do I join here or at the B&B Talk Forum?
I found out about you from Jan Stankus' book. We just opened a Guest Inn here in North Dakota, but would like to learn more about this business.
Thank you.
