Insurance Coverage?

Q: We are in the process of establishing a gorgeous new B&B and would appreciate some guidance on what companies offer good insurance programs for B&B's at competitive rates.
A: Man, you have asked a loaded question! From what I can tell there aren't any "reasonably" priced insurance packages. Check Yellow Brick Road (http://www.yellowbrickroadnl.com) and at the PAII site (http://www.paii.org) for a list of B&B insurance agents.
And when you are comparing your coverage, be sure you are comparing apples to apples -- and check the fine print to make sure you are covered in your location (I've heard stories of someone buying insurance and when they filed a claim found that their location wasn't covered becauase it was too far out of town!) -- ouch!
