Internet Marketing info product for B&B's

I have a lot of industry experience with Internet Marketing and some experience helping out B&B clients in Alaska. I was wondering if there is a market for some sort of yearly newsletter or eCourse on Internet Marketing strategies directed specifically for B&B's.
I have seen some similar companies offer web design for B&B's and companies promising SEO help. I haven't however found a large amount of people teaching B&B owners how to do it themselves.
If you think this will work, have any strategies to getting started?

Hi atmotionbb. Welcome to The B&B Lady's blog.
I don't think there is one site that encompasses the four aspects in one shot (marketing, web design, digital graphic arts, seo) It's a lot to take in. Not impossible, but still a lot to take in for many innkeepers who end up being very busy just managing their inn.
I guess I am not clear on what you are asking. Would people read it if you create it? ---Sure Would people pay for it if you create it? ---Maybe (depends on how well you create it, how well you market it, and how well you convince innkeepers that you know what you are talking about.)
Teaming up with an experienced and recognized B&B Consultant like Kit may not be a bad way to start. _________________ Steve Wirt Wine Country Cabins Bed and Breakfast in the Finger Lakes and Inngenious Bed and Breakfast Website Promotion

You have opened a very interesting topic. I don't have answers for you, but I am glad to talk about the pros and cons, ins and outs, and other aspects of your idea(s).
First, having been teaching online seminars now for 5 years, I can tell you that online edcuation hasn't caught on big-time in this industry. Even my eBooks don't sell as well as some business pepole would like. But, I think there could be a place for such a product, especially if you were willing to keep it updated as the "rules" and approaches change.
Steve was gracious to suggest teaming with someone like me. As much as I know about websites, SEO, and online marketing, I think Steve's B&B website business gives him a leg-up on me. He gave me a few great suggestions a few weeks ago, and my traffic is improving noticeably. That's good news! That's a long way of saying, Steve would be a good teammate too. Smile
My big question is: do innkeepers want to be handling their own website, or are they better off hiring a professional? Since I believe in doing what you do and love best, I think most should leave the work to you. *But*, that being said, I also feel that they should be well informed so they can be a partner with their web professional, not a blind customer. So, a course, or eBook, like you are suggesting could be fabulous.
