Lapland, Sweden B&B

June 6, 2005

From "Ask Kit!":
Q: Hi from Lapland Sweden! We have recently purchased, renovated and converted a big old house into a B&B. (http://www.TarnabyLapland.com). Do you know of any publications or associations that can give advice on running a B&B in Sweden? Particularly on the financial tax side as Sweden can be quite ruthless with the Tax system.

A: What a lovely situation! I wish you well.

I don't know anyone who consults in the B&B industry with specific knowledge of Sweden. And as for financial information, I think you'd be best off to contact a local accountant who knows something about business and ideally about lodging.

If you decide learning about American B&B operations would be valuable, you translating to Swedish B&B styles, consider my seminar services which are available online.
