I just saw SWirt's past posts about Super Inn. I'm curious to know who uses it and what features they like about it?

Do you worry about your internet connection going down and loosing access to your guest information?

We are connected by cable and rarely (knock on wood) are without connection. Ususally the outages accompany power outages. As standard practice, we print out a page of information that we can staple the deposit receipt to and that way we have a paper back-up in case we need access to info when we are disconnected. This is done when the reservation is confirmed, so we have paper copies from the start. I can only think of once in three years when it was an issue, and it wasn't that big an issue.

They do backups regularly of the database so I feel quite safe in relying on it. It has been very handy when we go on vacation for a couple of weeks in the off season to be able to get to our data from anyplace in the world that is connected to the internet. The monthly fee seems like a bit of an investment, but when you compare it to the number of bookings it brings in just because people can book directly online at any time of night or day. It also saves me literally 5 to 8 hours a week in guest communications and bookings.
